COURRÈGES AUTUMN/WINTER 2026 COLLECTION
Like a single-take film following a Parisian woman through her day, Nicolas Di Felice proposes a wardrobe wearable from morning to night. The silhouettes unfold within a cityscape imagined by Rémy Brière, the artistic director's longtime collaborator and stage designer—a landscape that feels both familiar and surreal. Each look resonates with the soundscape recorded in Paris, layering with the tones of the soundtrack co-created with Erwan Sene. Thus, a woman's 24 hours pass.
With a single gesture, a piece of fabric envelops the body, instantly forming a dress. The day begins in satin white, the body moving naturally and freely over the hybrid fabric. These pieces draw inspiration from the Maison's archives spanning the 1960s to the 1980s, eventually transitioning into the coats worn during the day. Tailoring details—multiple snap buttons, trapeze cuts, vinyl ensembles, injection zippers—draw from the Maison's codes.
The day progresses. Motifs evoking the city's pulse adorn silhouettes: subway tickets embroidered on organza, caviar-woven denim with a tar-like texture. Liberated and active, the look recalls Chantal Akerman's films, celebrating the passage of time as she glides from elevator to taxi. Evening wear, adorned with embroidered cloak tags and glass beads, reflects subdued light and fragmented neon glows. Late at night, the Courrèges woman returns to bed in a geometric black tube dress.
This season introduces the new “Shadow” bag. The combination of multiple colors and minimalist forms is Nicolas Di Felice's signature. Flexible materials like jersey, synthetic leather, and caviar weave temporarily reveal the traces of contents on the surface.
The music gradually intensifies as the final act unfolds. Models reappear, each wearing their look, but this time reimagined entirely in white. It is an homage to Courrèges' iconic codes. The light-reflecting white serves as an open canvas embodying the brand's minimalism, reflecting each season's narrative.
“24 Hours in the Life of a Courrèges Woman” marks the milestone fifth anniversary since Nicolas Di Felice debuted his first show for the Maison. Sublimating everyday gestures, the Fall/Winter 2026 collection explores the balance between the intimacy of materials and the intensity of reality, painting a worldview deeply rooted in the Courrèges philosophy.
