MSCHF DENIM CAMPAIGN FEATURING YOURA
Mschf is set to release the 3rd drop of its 26SS collection on April 24th. Ahead of the release, a denim campaign film featuring musician youra. The ‘Core Straight Jeans,’ the standout item from the film, will serve as the centerpiece of this third drop.
Set in an everyday kitchen, the campaign film features youra, a Korean singer songwriter musician with a distinct musical style, as the main muse. She leads the tension of the space with her signature enigmatic and cold aura. Created in collaboration with Japanese videographer Ryota and music director maalib, the film captures youra’s restrained movements in a static kitchen setting, intersecting with maalib’s looped motions in the background to create a sensory, music-video-like mise-en-scène. MSCHF’s philosophy of conveying diverse narratives across art and culture through fashion is once again seamlessly reflected in this campaign.
At the visual center of the film is the ‘Core Straight Jeans,’ a signature series that has been evolving since the 25FW season. Offering Mschf’s signature classic straight fit—where the waist and hip lines fall in perfect balance—the piece focuses on everyday wearability. Precise positioning of the back pockets refines the silhouette, while the durable denim fabric, which gains character with age, and the classic leather label detail add a timeless value that transcends seasons. The jeans are available in two colorways featured in the campaign: Dark Blue and Stripe.
For the 26SS collection, including this 3rd drop, Mschf focused on enhancing the inherent quality of the garments by stripping away unnecessary details and concentrating on core elements. The urban silhouette, defined by a flexible fit and sleek lines, embodies the brand’s sophisticated sensibility.
