For AW22, fashion label Norse Projects dug back to its Nordic roots and went all the way up to Shetland to catch the essence of the area’s beautiful, rugged islands and community spirit of its inhabitants. Photographed by Paul Hempstead, the campaign encapsulates a feeling of comfort and security through enduring knitwear pieces captured in the vastness of the surrounding islands. All made in Scotland by reputed supplier Harley’s—who’s known for its trademark seamless tubular technique—the collection’s cozy Scottish lambswool pieces provide an improved ranged of motion to the wearer. With a minimalistic yet rugged allure, each piece is a nod to the traditional craft of Shetland knitwear, sporting a brushed finish with subtle yet deliberate imperfections.
