Tokyo-based label Sillage has unveiled its fourth fall capsule titled "Collection en Sashiko Indien". The brainchild of Nicolas Yuthanan Chalumeau, the brand is known for its billowing styles, characterized by exaggerated volumes and understated palettes, putting a playful spin on traditional silhouettes. Set against a muted backdrop, this collections lookbook demonstrates the integral nature of each piece, while emphasizing the collection’s oversized cuts.

"This launch is focused on traditional Indian Antique Sashiko quilts that were carefully selected and used to create a series of caps and unique corduroy jackets. Each piece is unique and available in limited quantities.” Nicolas Yuthana Chalumeau.

For his fourth Fall collection, Yuthanan designed a range of corduroy jackets that incorporate a mix of different antique Sashiko quilts, all patterns presenting a unique look and feel due to their age and place of origin.

Sticking with the surplus fabrics used in the workwear-inspired jackets, Sillage will also be releasing a series of hats composed of the vintage quilts.

Sillage’s fourth collection "Collection en Sashiko Indien" will release on Saturday at 12:00pm JST and will be available to purchase through their website.
