We are delighted to announce the release of THE NEW ORDER issue 39 (autumn 2026), the last edition representing the progressive vision of the publication.
THE NEW ORDER ISSUE 39 features five covers:
NOTHING, photographed by Kenneth Cappello makes for a strong feature article with the band making all the right moves at the moment. Having released its latest album earlier in the year and currently on a world tour NOTHING is a strong favourite here at THE NEW ORDER.
World renowned footballer EDGAR DAVIDS is the next name to feature on a cover, the Dutch footballer makes for a formidable character. Photographed by Jos White, the outcome is refined yet distinctive while we sat down with Davids to discuss everything from football to fashion.
CHARLOTTE DAY WILSON makes for another compelling cover story, the hugely talented Canadian released her latest album earlier in the year and it’s another fantastic body of work. Talented photographer Iga Drobisz photographed Wilson in Paris making for a very strong editorial.
5LACK A.K.A 娯楽 continues to be a strong presence in the hip-hop scene in Japan and with his distinctive look and appreciation for style he makes for a comprehensive figure to feature on the cover. Photographed by Katsuhide Morimoto, 5LACK was photographed in Kyushu making for a contrasting setting for the rapper.
Another big name to feature on a cover is music duo OVERMONO, photographer Alex De Mora shot Tom and Ed Russell in Brighton making for a distinctive location. With the pair continuing to have a strong presence in the scene they have recently released a new album titled Pure Devotion, definitely worth [paying attention to.

Amongst the stand out features include an in-depth look into the world of artist’s CLAYTON PATTERSON and CURTIS KULIG with insightful studio visits with the New Yorkers. We have a really unique editorial with Japanese label NÒMARHYTHM TEXTILE, visually we created a very strong editorial with photographer Shinichiro Shiraishi. A think piece with musician PUMA BLUE makes for good reading while we also have an in-depth article on LADY WHITE COMPANY, the Los Angeles based label making for a fascinating piece. Famed skater and Fucking Awesome found JASON DILL is included alongside POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) while we have more seasonal fashion editorials included in this issue.
