BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS X VAULT BY VANS
Since the mid 2000s Japanese label Bedwin & The Heartbreakers has revitalised the Americana style in many shapes and forms. They’ve done it all; numerous depictions of workwear made of either thick canvas or corduroy, plaid flannel shirts and leather jackets, baggy denim jeans, as well as odes to quintessentially American heritage prints, namely the leopard print, or the paisley, too. Typically coming in a bandana form, the latter has just been reworked and restyled, yet again, for the present day /
With bandanas they’ve tweaked the staples from one of the most culturally impactful shoe brands: yes, we mean Vans. Indeed, made-in-America bandanas were cut and turned into classic Vans: the Authentic LX comes in either red on red or mismatched colourways, whereas the Old Skool LX model is made in rich blue, sporting its iconic side stripe.
In addition to the footwear, the Vault by Vans x Bedwin & the Heartbreakers capsule offers a full head-to-toe look with the ol’ good logo tee, an allover patchwork bandana tee and bucket hat and, last but not least, a grey hoodie printed with “Off the Wall” that’s also been given, you’ve guessed it, the paisley treatment.
The collaboration will be available to purchase from July 24th at Vault By Vans retail locations.
