C.P. COMPANY X CLARKS ORIGINALS
For SS22, C.P. Company and Clarks Originals joined their respective forces in a collaboration that celebrates the crossroads between nature and the city. Made up of two jackets and two shoe models, both the British footwear brand’s cult Desert Trek and C.P. Company’s half-decade-old heritage craftsmanship have been given a modern twist to suit the needs of today’s keen outdoors enthusiasts.
The Desert Trek now sports a much-liked Vibram outsole, the outer wear pieces — an anorak and a long jacket — were made from water-repellent, polyurethane-coated linen and rubber detailing throughout. Inspired by the varied landscape of the British coastline, with its beaches with long sand beds, the pieces come in natural and man-made hues, juxtaposing earthy tones of wet, deep beige with pitch black details that pop out.
