DIEMME X MOUNT SUNNY
In collaboration with Mount Sunny, footwear label DIEMME has just released a capsule collection rooted in the Phoenix-based health and wellness centre’s Western aesthetic. Composed of a pair of sneakers and a pair of mules, as well as a graphic tee, the collection echoes the colours of Mount Sunny’s daily surroundings, the desert landscape, with its brown, terracotta, and beige hues. Made of hair-on cowhide and vegetable tanned leather, the footwear offering fit well into a wardrobe in which clothes to wear when exploring the outside world has become a staple.
“Featured on the contemporary-yet-practical silhouettes from DIEMME, we chose vegetable tan as it will darken with sun exposure and use, evolving with the wearer as they endure hikes, dirt trails, etc,” commented Mount Sunny’s Spencer Ramirez. Finalised with a blue-sky coloured insole, Ramirez continued, saying, “This completes the full picture as you imagine the scenery of a sprawling ranch on a sunny Arizona day.”
