HOKA ONE ONE X ENGINEERED GARMENTS BONDI L
Joining forces yet again, HOKA ONE ONE’s and Engineered Garments’ partnership has produced a range of successful silhouettes. Released as their fourth collaborative effort, New York City based Engineered Garments offers a spin on the HOKA Bondi L, the lifestyle version of HOKA ONE ONE’s most successful running silhouette.
Preserving the Bondi’s max-cushioned sole, the upper of the shoe gets wrapped in suede and leather giving the silhouette a more casual and less sporty look, resulting in four styles including “Black Cow Hair”, “Simply Taupe Cow Hair”, “Sand Leopard Print” and “Brown Croc Print”.
Having designed the prior collaborations, Engineered Garments founder and creative director Daiki Suzuki pulled inspirations and references from traditional Americana aesthetics and fused them with heritage Japanese fashion.
An avid runner himself, Suzuki has a very personal and organic connection to HOKA and their innovative shoes and designs.
“We resonated with HOKA’s unique, distinctive designs and innovative features. HOKA shoes are stylish, comfortable, and functional, all elements that provide a basis for our philosophy when constructing garments.” says Suzuki.
The Engineered Garments x HOKA ONE ONE Bondi L is available online and at selected retailers.
