MAAP X P.A.M.
Melbourne’s art and creative scene has evolved substantially over the past decades, changing its rhythm, pace and style along the way. A brand that has both pulled influences from and subsequently influenced the scene in itself is Perks and Mini by Shauna Toohey and Misha Hollenbach. Started as an attempt to create an environment the two friends want to live in, P.A.M soon grew into an international brand producing products and objects reminiscent of Shauna’a and Misha’s creative contemporaries and collaborators.
One of their latest collaborations sees and encounter with an old friend, MAAP’s Creative Director Misha Glisovic, a connection that formed almost 20 years ago.
Founded in 2014, MAAP delivers a fresh and bold interpretation of contemporary performance cycling gear ready for the track, the road and the outdoors.
“It was a very organic moment. It was very natural and easy, and very exciting at the same time. It’s affirming when things like that happen. No planning, and a very natural synergy emerging was a perfect place to start.” said Misha Hollenbach, P.A.M. Co-Founder
MAAP X P.A.M “Psy-Cycling Adventures” introduces the first instalment of an ongoing collaboration that combines Perks and Mini’s free-wheeling aesthetic and psy-activated graphic language with MAAP’s technical garment development and performance-ready apparel.
“We wanted to bring a different perspective to cycling. As the sport’s evolved and as it’s growing...we just wanted to provide more people access to the sport. To show them that it is more inclusive.” said Misha Glisovic, MAAP’s Creative Director.
The collaborative range is now available to buy on both MAAP’s and P.A.M.’s website.
