Having founded his eponymous brand in 2015, Central Saint Martin graduate Nicholas Daley since redefined the connections between fashion, music and culture, sparking conversations around identity and multiculturalism in the process. Nicholas Daley is built around diversity, inclusion, and community while creating a space for identities to unfold.

With most of the manufacturing located within the U.K, the London based brand offers a unique mix of workwear-inspired garments and heritage tailoring resulting in collections that are both practical and aesthetic. Music plays another vital role within the brand’s identity, each season exploring the symbiotic relationship between fashion, jazz, reggae, post-punk, and dub.

For Daley’s SS22 season titled ‘Blue Quilt’, music, again, takes a pivotal role, the collection featuring a collaboration with Nigerian-raised, Ireland-bred Caleb Kunle. The artist’s unique melange of folk, R&B, West African heritage and Gaelic are the perfect complement to Daley’s signature ode to multiculturalism.

Solid patchwork, oversized raincoats, ponchos, bucket hats and tie-dye jackets are staples pieces of “Blue Quilt”, all inspired by textures and fabrics across, Japan, NYC, Ireland and the UK. As the name suggests, parts of the collection are manufactured using deadstock materials from previous collections and seasons.
