TMS.SITE 3.0

How many designers are genuinely dedicated to making workwear better? Because, while it’s become a key part of present-day fashion, the usual take is purely aesthetic-driven, and has sort of lost its focus. But, with her label TMS.SITE, Mei Sze Tsang is on it. After conducting 2 years of field research on construction sites for the label’s 3.0 collection, Tsang came to realise the obvious—workmen’s clothes are outdated.

Through human-centred, high-performance designs, TMS.SITE is a way more than a workwear brand. Actually, Tsang likes to think of workers as “Industrial Athletes”. Case in point is her latest development—the 3.0 Industrial Athlete Pants—a pair of technical work trousers created in close collaboration with Hong Kong steel fixers. “This line of work is infamous for its grueling, difficult and dangerous conditions: the profession is known for being the most physically demanding construction work,” Tsang commented.

Thanks to continual first-hand feedback, TMS.SITE has come up with four styles of pants that feature dynamic and articulated cuts, joining and pocketing, as well as class cleading YKK hardware and waterproof zippers, and inserts for patented knee-pads. Panelled in stretchy ripstop nylon and Cordura® nylon 66, these pants are not only certified for construction sites, but their applications extend to other tough outdoors environments, such as hiking, climbing and everyday wear, making it an ideal pick for both onsite and offsite activities.

TMS.SITE is currently running a Kickstarter campaign, with great benefits for early backers.
