FRED PERRY x G.H. BASS & CO.

Quintessentially British label Fred Perry and classic American company G.H. Bass & Co. Loafers teamed up once again for the third iteration of their ongoing partnership that dates back a couple of years. This time around, the pair has picked the iconic Weejuns to give it the Fred Perry treatment, reworking the loafer in a sturdy, heavy-duty silhouette designed with a ridged commando outsole in lightweight yet durable EVA rubber and a leather in-sock finished with a tartan trim. In another adaptation, the original Larson Penny loafer in either smooth black leather or an earthy “Bark” nubuck was ornamented with a pale-gold-plated curb chain detail. Keeping in harmony with the history U.S. footwear brand’s initial founder George Henry Bass’ motto of “making the best possible shoe”, the collaborative effort keeps on honouring old-school craftsmanship with a modern-day sensibility.
