EDEN POWER CORP: AMADOU MUSHROOM HAT

Building on the first variation of the Amadou hat he’s conceptualised last year with local artisans in Corund, Transylvania, EDEN Power Corp’s Isaac Larose keeps the creative relationship he’s set going and has just released a new version of the hat with them. While coming with the same felty texture than the first, the second take comes in the shape of a tulip with distinct panels (or petals) and is fully lined with deadstock cotton lining that features a plaid pattern. Nature-friendly yet street-ready, the collections of Amadou hats mostly act as a reminder to us all that nature is impressive on its own merits, and hence should be preserved at all costs. The hat itself won’t save the planet, but to wear it will defo start much-needed conversations about its future /
